After 17 years, I am single again

Well I have been mulling over this post for many days now and I need to get it out there. This is a difficult post to make at best. After 17 years, I am single again and I have finally come to understand that it is not due to anything that could have been prevented. You see I met Skye 17 years ago when we were both at similar places in life but as we aged and our family grew we ended up on different paths. I am sad that it happened, but looking back now I can see how it happened and I am not sure we could have stopped it. I am however grateful that the woman I married is such a wonderful person, she is not only fair but very reasonable in everything we … [Read more...]

Why Is Earth’s Schumann Resonance Accelerating?

September 26, 2015 By Ahkonsu Leave a Comment

Why Is Earth's Schumann Resonance Accelerating? The Ancient Indian Rishis called 7.83 Hz the frequency of OM. It also happens to be Mother Earth’s natural heartbeat rhythm, known as the “Schumann Resonance.” According to Wikipedia, “Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere.” For many years this resonance frequency has hovered at a steady 7.83 Hz with only slight variations. In June 2014 that changed. Monitors at the Russian Space Observing System showed a sudden spike in activity to around 8.5 Hz. Since then, they have recorded days … [Read more...]

I Heart Intelligence 22 Timeless Life Lessons from Aristotle

May 10, 2015 By Ahkonsu Leave a Comment

I Heart Intelligence 22 Timeless Life Lessons from Aristotle At first glance, you might think to yourself, “what could someone who lived over 2,300 years ago possible teach me about life?” What if that man was a student of Plato, and the teacher of Alexander the Great? Aristotle is widely considered to be one of the smartest men to have ever lived, but his intelligence was not as importance as his wisdom. Yes, those are two separate things. Not all wise men are smart, and vie versa. Aristotle’s wisdom still rings true today, and I personally collected these quotes as a tribute to one of the WISEST men to ever have graced humanity. 1. … [Read more...]

The Foreskin: Why Is It Such A Secret In North America?

April 30, 2015 By Ahkonsu Leave a Comment

The Foreskin: Why Is It Such A Secret In North America? The male prepuce, or foreskin, is a highly mobile and extraordinarily sensitive double fold of tissue that is the end of the penis. Why do Americans go out of their way to remove this part of human anatomy, when the rest of the world does not? While Europeans, Chinese, Japanese, and most other people may wonder why anyone would need to explain this most mundane fact, the truth is that the foreskin is not well-understood in U.S. culture and medicine. One of Geisheker's jobs is tracking cases of American doctors who are so outrageously ignorant of intact penile anatomy that they cause … [Read more...]

The Hidden Meaning Behind These 10 Classic Fantasy Films

April 27, 2015 By Ahkonsu Leave a Comment

The Hidden Meaning Behind These 10 Classic Fantasy Films Fantasy and sci/fi films in particular tend to evoke the affectionate feeling of nostalgia, as well as whimsy, because of the fantastical dreamscapes and imagery they contain. Analyzing the deeper subliminal messages encoded within these films, we find there may be a “hidden hand” at work that intentionally orchestrated esoteric subplots whose roots can be found in ancient hermetic teaching/mystery school tradition. Jim Henson and George Lucas’ Labyrinth hearkens back to the labyrinth of classical mythology, as well as relating to the perennial journey of the hero on his quest to the … [Read more...]

Get over the stranger danger and join the free-rangers

April 19, 2015 By Ahkonsu Leave a Comment

Get over the stranger danger and join the free-rangers In the mid-1970s, when Yonge Street was a tawdry nirvana bisecting Toronto, my father used to leave my older brothers and I in a pinball arcade while he went record shopping. At night. For hours. I was young enough to need a plastic milk crate to stand on so I could reach the flippers. He didn’t entirely abandon us, in the middle of the night, on a street full of weirdos and miscreants: He made sure we had a plastic bag full of change for the games. Then he went off to Sam the Record Man or A&As to look for opera imports. Only once did anyone in authority express any concern over three … [Read more...]
